ZERO 10X Coilover Suspension: Setup for Rough Asphalt

1) Stock setup: What the Zero 10X is tuned for

Lighter riders may feel chatter on coarse surfaces, while heavier riders may bottom on sharp impacts. 2) Preload basics: Set sag before anything else

  • Target 25–30% static sag on the Zero 10X suspension: standing centered on the deck, the arms compress about one-quarter to one-third of total travel.

Always stay within the tire sidewall rating. If you frequently carry cargo, bias +2 PSI.

3) Zero 10X puncture prevention: Sealant? 

  • Inner-tube sealant can automatically plug many everyday punctures. It’s a smart add for commuting on the Zero 10X.

  • Tubeless conversions can seal larger holes but require airtight rims and consistent maintenance.

  • No sealant is 100%. Most mystery flats on the Zero 10X electric scooter trace back to under-inflation or hard square-edge hits, so keep PSI in range.

4) Tread wear: When we need to replace
