At DRIDER Scooters, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you're not happy with your electric scooter, we've made it easy for you to return it. Please review the following policy for a smooth and hassle-free return process.
An Overview of Our Returns Policy
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery for unused scooters that are in new, resellable condition and are still in their original packaging. We aim to provide you with a full refund for eligible returns, excluding any applicable return fees.
Unused scooters: Must be in original packaging and free from usage marks or damage.
Used scooters: Generally, we do not accept returns on scooters that have been used. However, in exceptional cases, we may accept a return of a used scooter that has been ridden less than 15 miles and is still in excellent condition, subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Return Fee: The return fee is dependent on the model and size of the scooter, and will be deducted from your refund.
Shipping Protection Insurance: This fee is non-refundable, as it covers the outgoing shipment of your order.
How to Start a Return
Refund Processing Time
After we receive the returned scooter and confirm its condition, we will process your refund. Typically, it takes 3-5 business days for the refund to appear on your payment method statement.
What If I No Longer Have the Box?
If you no longer have the original packaging, you will need to obtain a new box that provides safe transit for the scooter. The box should be of similar size to the original. Oversized boxes (more than double the size of the original box) may incur additional handling charges, which will be passed on to you.
Can I Cancel My Order for a Refund?
Yes, you can cancel your order before it ships. To cancel your order:
- Visit our Help Center and select the 'Cancel Order' option.
- If your order has not yet been shipped, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method within 3-5 business days.
If your order has already shipped when we receive your cancellation request, you may refuse the package upon delivery. Once we receive the refused package, we will process your refund, deducting the one-way return shipping fee (between $60 - $150, depending on the size of the scooter).
What Happens if My Scooter Does Not Work Properly?
If your scooter arrives dead on arrival or experiences immediate technical issues (which can occasionally happen with electric vehicles, regardless of battery quality), we will:
- Exchange your scooter free of charge.
- Cover all return shipping costs for the defective product.
For any other technical issues, please contact our Support Team. We will work closely with you to resolve the problem and ensure you have a smooth experience with your scooter.
Additional Notes:
- Return Shipping Fees: If the return is not due to a defect or error on our part, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
- Restocking Fee: If the return is approved after use (less than 15 miles), a 20% restocking fee will apply, which is deducted from the refund amount.
